I received a notification. Williamsport Area is on a two-hour delay. I knocked on Jensen’s door. He was already stirring. It was 6:00 a.m. I gave him the news, and he went back to bed. There was a new update a few minutes later. Williamsport Area is now REMOTE. We were in a sudden panic.

I gave up on one of my New Year’s Resolutions. I always have great intentions. Perhaps next year I will find a gym. But until then, I am OK with not being trimmed. No worries, kids. There are many joys when it comes to parenthood, and I consider myself very fortunate to have a son.
I ran into an old friend at the Magic Dome last week — someone I haven’t seen in fifteen years. Rahim Washington was a former teammate back in ’95. I was a senior, and Rahim was a talented freshman. We were part of a Millionaire squad that went to the state final. Washington was legit.

Marilouise Mazzante and I have been friends for a long time. We first met my sophomore year at Williamsport High. I was in her classroom for honors History. Maz was outstanding, passionate, and tough. I learned a great deal, and she is easily in my top five. She was a fantastic teacher. A terrific motivator
