Amanda L. Connell, 31, of Dushore died Monday, January 29, 2018.

Born June 15, 1986 in Towanda, she is a daughter of Deborah A. (Yanney) Connell of Dushore.

Amanda was a talented artist and loved writing poetry. Surviving are her mother and step-father, Deborah A. Connell and Rodney Kinner of Dushore; a daughter, Leila Marie Young; a son, Troy Joseph Young; a sister, Ashley M. Finan of AL; Fiance, Todd J. Young of Dushore; two nephews, Jaden B. Finan and Shane W. Kinner; and two nieces, Marrisha L. Finan and Mercides B. Finan.

A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, February 3, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 119 Carpenter Street, Dushore, with Pastor Ron Dyer officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home to help defray the funeral expenses.
