Another Season Begins with the Best of Holiday Hoops

Just in the Saint Nick of time, the high school basketball season has returned in full swing. If you’re like me, you need to get out of the house on these long dark nights. Go cheer on your favorite team. If you can’t make it to the game or live out of town, Webb Weekly Live teaming up with Hoopers Only TV will have the action available at your fingertips.

Our area’s best players, rivalry games, and school spirit are on display for the world to see.

Play by play man, Paul Bo, will be by my side to set me up and make me look good. Jimmy Webb will be providing the key statistics, and the Sun Gazette’s Doc Massey will keep us updated on everything that is high school hoops across the West Branch Valley. A tip of my Santa hat to Cam Crossley, producer, and Big Mike, along with Isaac on camera. It’s great to have the team back together again.

Thank you to long-time Williamsport official scorer Kenny Myers, who keeps me up to date on all that is Williamsport Millionaire basketball. He was the first to let me know the Loyalsock versus Williamsport game would be held at the Magic Dome on Thursday, December 23rd. The game was originally scheduled for Lycoming College. We will again be featuring the Lancers and Millionaires as they square off in the City rivalry at 7:30 p.m. We’ll be on air with pregame at 7:15 p.m.

The following week we will feature the Williamsport Christmas Tournament, which is simply one of the best holiday hoop traditions in the state.

Coach Allen Taylor’s Millionaires will take on Paul International Academy out of Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, December 28th, airtime 7:15 p.m. The championship and consolation games will be the next day at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. We will again have the Millionaires versus an opponent and time to be determined.

Games of the week can be found at, Facebook, and YouTube. Hopefully, you get up to the Magic Dome and watch them live and follow up with the replay, as all matchups are archived. A schedule of upcoming games is also available on our website.
