Timothy C. King Sr., 73 of Lewis Twp., Turbotville, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026 at his home.

Born June 21, 1953 in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Floyd E. and Donna M. (Buck) King.  On March 22, 1974 he married the former Ruth A. Owens, and together they celebrated 52 years of marriage.

Tim was a 1972 graduate of Montgomery High School, and was self-employed most of his life.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing; Tim was also an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.

In addition to his wife, Ruth, he is survived by his son: Timothy C. King Jr. and his wife Maurica, of Watsontown; a daughter from a different mother: Brandy Metzger, of Sunbury and her children, Nevaeh Chestnut, Braylon Chestnut, Brooklyn Phillips, Breonna Phillips, Sarah Metzger, and Lydia Metzger; a brother: Larry L. King, of Allenwood; two sisters: Deborah A. Parks and her husband Herb, of Muncy, and Connie Miller, of Allenwood; and several nieces and nephews. Also a great nephew Cody Chestnut.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Donald and Richard King.

There will be a visitation held from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, September 30th, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway St, Turbotville, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Beaver Run Mennonite Church Cemetery, Watsontown.
