Theodore E. “Ted” Daniels, 69

Theodore E. “Ted” Daniels, 69, of Dushore, died Monday, October 22, 2018 at his home.

Born April 2, 1949 in Richboro, PA, he was a son of the late Theodore S. and Irene D. (Culp) Daniels. He and his wife, the former Tammy J. Askew, celebrated nine years of marriage on May 14, 2018.

Ted was a graduate of Council Rock High School, Class of 1967, and a graduate of Williamson Free School Mechanical Trades, Class of 1970. He received the Scholar Sportsman Award in 1970 and was recently nominated for the Williamson Trade School Athletic Hall of Fame.

Ted was a member of Evergreen Lodge #163 F. & A. M., Valley of Allentown Hiram’s Scottish Riders Motorcycle Club, Legion Riders Post 996, Dushore, and the Redeemer Church, Dushore. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and motorcycle riding.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Miranda (Tom) Barnes of Wyalusing; two sons, Brian (Stacy) Daniels of North East, MD and Ted (Jamie) Daniels of Coatsville; two sisters, Arlene (Bill) Devlin of Willow Grove, and Denise (David Williams) Daniels of Ferris, TX; two brothers, Frank Daniels of Willow Grove, and Pete Daniels of Ferris, TX; and five grandchildren, Amelia, Griffin, Jack, Kyle, and Gavin.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 119 Carpenter Street, Dushore, with Pastor Ron Dyer officiating. A private burial will follow in Vaughn Cemetery, Mehoopany. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where a Masonic funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
