Shirley Rogers Thomas, 89, of Williamsport, went home peacefully to her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her loved ones on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Manor Care Health Services North. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, William S. Thomas.

Born December 4, 1929 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Francis Rogers and Ellen (Stone) Ivins.

Shirley was a graduate of Williamsport High School. She enjoyed reading and puzzles. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.

Surviving are her children Shelley A. Selleck (Timothy) of Trout Run, James R. Thomas (Carol) of Cogan Station, John R. Thomas of Harrisburg, and William S. Thomas Jr. of Auburn, ME; six grandchildren;10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl Thomas and a granddaughter Katherine Wentz.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in Montoursville Cemetery.
