Sherry L. McCall, formerly of Swissdale, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Susque View Home, Lock Haven.

She was born in Tyrone on February 8, 1937, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Gartner Waple.

Sherry was a 1955 graduate of Tyrone High School.

On August 6, 1960 in Tyrone, she married Norman T. McCall, who preceded her in death on December 12, 2013.

Sherry was employed as a Registered Nurse at Lock Haven Hospital, Piper Aircraft and Community Nursing Service of Clinton County until her retirement.

She was a member of Flemington United Methodist Church.

Sherry loved her animals, especially her dogs. She enjoyed shopping for and collecting antiques.

She is survived by two sons, Steven (Corie) McCall of Blanchard and Bradley McCall of Collegeville; a grandson, Tyler McCall of Beech Creek; a great grandson, Tanner McCall of Beech Creek; and two sisters, JoEllen and Melanie.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2017 at 7p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating. Private burial will be held at Swissdale Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Susque View Resident Memorial Fund.
