Sara E. Schmohl, 91, passed over to heaven on January 8, 2021, at Embassy at Loyalsock.
She was born December 10, 1929, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late James and Minnie (Fox) Schon.
Sara was a business owner of Schmohl’s Trailer Park for over 55 years. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, was an avid reader, and was a very loving person who reminded everyone Jesus loved them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester B. Schmohl, Jr.; a son, Larry L. Schmohl; two sisters and seven brothers.
Surviving is a daughter, Frances E. Clark, of Williamsport; a son, Jerry J. (Ann) Schmohl, of Endicott, NY; two sisters, Katie Stoner, of Montoursville and Mary Curchoe, of Williamsport; two grandchildren, Matthew and Lilly, and a great-grandchild, Andy.
A graveside funeral service will be held 12 noon Wednesday, January 13, at Cogan House Cemetery with Rev. James R. Behrens officiating.
A walkthrough viewing will be held for family and friends on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville.
PA Dept. of Health guidelines for indoor and outdoor gatherings will be followed, including masks and social distancing.
