Ruth A. (Butler) Kelley, 98, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024 at The Williamsport Home. She was born in Olean, New York on May 3, 1926 a daughter of the late Edgar and Myrtle Butler.

Ruth worked as a housekeeper for the Williamsport Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1985. She was very handy completing many projects around her home. Ruth loved horses and gardening. She was a big fan of WWE wrestling.

Ruth is survived by four sons, Daniel (Valerie) Kelley of Muncy; Dennis (Nancy) Kelley of Montgomery; Douglas (Kate) Kelley of Kentucky; and Donald (MiKyong) Kelley of South Korea; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles W. Kelley; a son, David Kelley; a granddaughter, Sonia Kinney; a brother, Calvin Butler; and a sister, Alice Gray.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
