Richard E Gaul, 74, of Lock Haven, PA, passed away on July 12, 2026, at Haven Place in Lock Haven.

Richard was born in Lock to the late Clarence E and Erma L. Gaul (Dugan) on March 29, 1952.  He was joined in marriage to the late Marilyn J. Gaul (Robb) on July 27, 1973.  Richard was a 1970 graduate of Lock Haven High School.  He worked as a truck driver for years, logging over a million miles before retiring.  He was a member of Garman Lutheran Church of Avis, PA.  Richard enjoyed working outside, hunting, fishing, and playing cards.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip (Jamie) Gaul of Lock Haven, PA, and Benjamin (Jennifer) Gaul of Pahrump, NV; a daughter, Gwen (John) Bennett of Jersey Shore, PA.  Also surviving are two brothers David (Mary) Gaul and Dean (Kathleen) Gaul; seven grandchildren, Benjamin, John Michael, Arrianna, Mark, Brandon, Emma, and Avery; cousins, nieces, and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Love.

At Richard’s request, there will be no services.  Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Lamar Township.  Richard’s care has been entrusted to the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services LLC., 121 W.
