Paul Edward Myers, II, 62

Paul Edward Myers, II, 62, of Hughesville, Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport.

Born January 8, 1962, in Muncy, PA, he was a son of Evelyn R. (Shaner) Burkhart of Hughesville and the late Paul E. Myers. He and his wife, Beth-Anne King, of 18 years of Hughesville, PA shared a wonderful life together. Paul was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother who enjoyed spending time with his sons and family. In his spare time, he would work on Volvos with his son, Josh, and share the love of rock-n-roll music with his son, Chase. If you did not find Eddie in the garage or with a guitar in his hands, he was either woodworking or tending to his prize tomatoes he grew in the garden. Music was a large part of Eddie’s life, and he would arguably agree that Led Zepplin was the greatest band of all time, but always subject to change to another great artist. Eddie was a kind and caring person who spent lots of time with his cats and dog at home. Outside of his hobbies, he was employed at UHS Hospital (Johnson City, NY) for 15 years, retired from SCI Muncy in 1995 after 11 years, and currently as a driver for GTI in Riverside.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Evelyn R. (Donald) Burkhart of Hughesville and his wife, Beth-Anne, of Hughesville, his sons: Adam Myers, of Seattle, WA, Chase Myers, of Hughesville, and Joshua Myers, of Hughesville; a brother, Christian (Valerie) Myers, of Muncy, a sister, Tamara Hutson, of Montoursville, a sister-in-law, Ellen Baggerman, of Binghamton, NY, a brother-in-law, Lee King, of New Milford, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St. Hughesville, Pennsylvania, with Rev. Kevin St. Martin, officiating. Friends may call from 11 to 12 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Lycoming County SPCA.
