Patricia Mae (Shade) Berry, formerly of Rote, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Lock Haven Skilled Rehabilitation & Nursing.

Pat was born November 29, 1933, the daughter of the late Daniel and Alger (Fultz) Shade.
She graduated from Mill Hall High School.

On May 19, 1950, she married the late Richard A. Berry. Together they celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Patricia worked for Clinton Paper Company until their closing, and then Renninger’s True Value Lumber Company in Mill Hall until her retirement.

On nice days Pat enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the cars as they drove by and watching the birds out the kitchen window. She enjoyed camping with her family, bowling at Clinton Lanes Sunday Mixed League, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Salona United Church of Christ and was a passionate lover of animals, especially her new found adopted cat, Harry, at Haven Skilled Rehab.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Jerrie (Kevin) Walters of Lock Haven; her son-in-law, Robert Mosser of Rote; her grandchildren: Stephanie (Chris) Ford, Kyle (Jenn) Walters, Tara Bardo-Walters, Jake (Kalena) Walters, Lindsay Berry, Joey (Britney) Berry, Joe (Tam) Mosser, Josh (Leslie) Mosser; numerous great grandchildren; and four sisters-in-law: Sue Shade, Janet Robinson, Carol Glossner and Evelyn Eisenhower.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by four children: Kathy, Richard, Timothy and Margaret and nine siblings: Fred, Morgan, Jack, George, Irene, Loretta, Georganna, Betty and Sarah.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
