Michael Thomas Litz, 51, of Mill Hall, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born October 9, 1972 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of Barbara Confer Bastian, who survives in Montgomery.

Following graduation from Montgomery High School, Mike served in the United States Army. After returning from service, he was employed in the gas well industry for many years.

On April 20, 2012, he married the former Vicki Lynn Lachat, who preceded him in death May 3, 2020.

Mike was an avid football fan, especially of the San Francisco 49ers. He also enjoyed shooting pool in the Lock Haven Pool League.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Blake Felty of Renovo; two step-daughters, Taylor McAndrew of Georgia and Hunter Lachat of Mill Hall; two brothers, Wayne A. “Scoob” Litz, Jr. of Missouri and Jason A. Gardner of Jersey Shore; a sister, Kristy Stevens of Castanea; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nichole L. Gardner.

Private services will be held at the convenience of Mike’s family.
