Mary E. McLean, 89

Mary E. McLean, 89, of Lock Haven passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at Susque View Home, Lock Haven.

Born on January 11, 1929 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Richard Conser and Elizabeth “Biz” Knarr Ferree.

Mary was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and later worked at Woolrich Woolen Mills until her retirement.

She enjoyed floating down the river with her sister, June, playing various card games with her family, and doing crossword puzzles. Mary also enjoyed being in the kitchen, whether cooking, canning, or baking and sharing her treats with anyone who stopped by.

Surviving are five children: Craig (Dottie Brown) Colocino of Castanea, Richard (Paula) Ardner of Salona, Douglas Ardner of Lock Haven, Kelly McLean Heaton of Lititz, and Forrest “Jim” (Amy) McLean of Linden; her sister, Doris (Bill) Swinehart of McElhattan; fifteen grandchildren including Kristie Aungst and Tasha Yost whom she spent much time with; numerous great grandchildren; and several great, great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Colocino and Daniel Ardner and four siblings: Betty, June, Alicia and Richard Conser.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service.
