Larry E. Bickel, 68, of Hughesville, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at home.

Born August 20, 1957 in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late James E. and Irene F. (Huff) Bickel.

Larry attended Warrior Run High School. He previously worked at Overhead Door Company, Williamsport, and Sam’s Club, Muncy.

He was an avid hunter and camper.

Larry is survived by his companion, Lisa Rupert; a son, Larry Bickel, Jr. and his companion, Jessica Vognet, of Lewisburg; a daughter, Megan Miller, of Williamsport; two step-sons, Dale Richart, Jr. and his wife, Trina, and Gregory Richart, both of Muncy; a step-daughter, Melinda Houser and her husband, Geoffrey, of Huntersville; four grandchildren; a brother, Thomas E. Bickel and his wife, Donna; and two sisters, Debra A. St.Clair, of Watsontown, and Judy L. Gail, of White Deer.

Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven A. and James R. Bickel, and a sister, Beverly I. Jones.

A graveside service will be held 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Elimsport Cemetery.
