Kent L. Paulhamus, age 73, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2026, at his home.
Kent was born on February 25, 1952, in Williamsport to the late Donald L. Paulhamus and Mary Elizabeth (Robinson) Paulhamus. He lived a life devoted to God, his family, and service to his community.
Kent was a proud graduate of Williamsport Area High School, class of 1970. He furthered his education at Williamsport Area Community College, receiving his degree as an engineering drafting technician in 1973. His educational background paved the way for his distinguished career, where he demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication. Kent started at Darling Valve, and later contributed his expertise to M.W. Kellogg and E. Keeler Company. He finished his professional journey with WML Robinson Concrete Contractors, where he was highly respected for his work ethic.
Beyond work, Kent had a passion for cutting wood and was an active and cherished member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church community. His faith and fellowship with others strengthened the bond he had with his beloved hometown.
Kent’s legacy is lovingly cherished by his family. He is survived by his devoted children, daughter Jennifer E. Loomis and son Shane P. Paulhamus, and their mother, Cheryl Seitzer. His life was further brightened by the joys brought by his grandchildren, Joel Loomis and his wife Kaeleigh and Christian Loomis and his wife Haley; and four great-grandchildren, Azariah, Braeleigh, Braxton, and Brayson. Kent also leaves behind his dear sister, Linda Farnsworth and her husband Gary, two nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with burial to follow at State Road Cemetery. A viewing will be prior from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
