Janet M. Kinley, 78 of Lock Haven passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville.
She was born on November 4th 1947 to the late Robert L. and Betty (Collins) Basinger. She graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1965 and worked at Woolrich Woolen Mills and the Chair Factory in Lock Haven.
Her hobbies were spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She also enjoyed visiting her daughter in Florida any time she could.
Janet is survived by two daughters, Michele (Shane) Higgins of FL, Pauline (Joseph) Kinley of Lock Haven; a son, James (Cindy) Kinley of Lock Haven; a brother, Thomas Basinger of Altoona; Seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Kyle) Coleman, Jamie Kinley, Drew Higgens, Ashlee Higgins, Izick Evans, Benit Evans, and Emmarie Evans. She is also survived by Six Great Grandchildren; Mahkenna, Emma, Chase, Kasen, and Wilder and Sylvia due in October
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. Basinger.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
