Jane L. Yeagle, 81

Jane L. Yeagle, 81, of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Williamsport South Rehab and Nursing Center, while surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Dave Yeagle.

Born on December 12, 1942, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Watson L. and Ruth F. (Lewis) Shief. Jane graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1960. She worked for many years at Textron before her retirement in 2005. Jane had an adventurous personality and loved being outdoors. She and her late husband Dave belonged to Sheshequin Buckskinners Black Powder Club, where she was given the name “Lucky Lady”. They participated in many rendezvous, often spending weeks at a time in the woods. She enjoyed deer hunting and camping, often laughing and reminiscing of her experiences. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on her favorite team, the Green Bay Packers.

Surviving are her six children, William Keller and his wife Julie, and their children William Keller, Jr. and Theresa Moon (Randy); David “Red” Keller who passed in 2023, and his wife Melissa, and their children Niklas Keller and Megan Keller; Ann Marie Graham and her husband James, and their children Brandon Smith, Joshua Smith, Myranda Cobb and Jordan Cobb; Lynnette Meekins and her husband Joe, and their child Paul Meekins (Destiny); David Yeagle and his wife Karen and their children Michelle Kelly (Mark) and Julia Madere (Josh); Clinton Yeagle and his wife Rubi. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory ten great-grandchildren, Tiannah, Jaxon, Austin, Amari, Layeionna, Jordan, Joshua, Elias, Joseph and Oliver; two nephews, Kris Lorson and Jeff Lorson (Michelle) and her beloved granddogs, Niki, Shadow “Scout”, and Bella.

Along with her parents, husband, and son, Jane was also preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn “Aunt Bunny” Jackson.

A celebration of life to honor Jane will be held at a later date.
