Earl B. Truckenmiller, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
Born October 10, 1932 in rural Watsontown, he was a son of the late Ward W. and Thelma (Brown) Truckenmiller.
Earl was a graduate of Watsontown High School. He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Earl received a bachelors degree from Shippensburg University and later received a master’s degree in education from Temple University. He taught in Susquehanna Township school district for over 33 years, teaching business education and he loved his job often pushing others to pursue teaching as a career.
He was a member of the Watsontown Masonic Lodge #401 achieving the 70 year award. Earl was a very active member of the YMCA and PSEA. Most of all he loved his entire family.
He is survived by his sister, Natalie Teuful, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his three brothers: Donald, Robert, and Fred Truckenmiller; and three sisters: Betty Bower, Gladys Klapp, and Myra Cunningham.
There will be a viewing held from 11 Am to Noon on Wednesday, June 17, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville, where a funeral service will be held at Noon with Pastor Tim Truckenmiller, officiating. Following the service burial will be held in Watsontown Cemetery with full military honors. A masonic service will be held prior to the viewing at 11:00 AM.
