Debra K. Fry, 67

Debra K. Fry, 67, of Muncy, died Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at her home, with her loving familyat her side.

Born June 17, 1956, in Sunbury, she was a daughter of the late John and Phyllis (Rhoades) Klock.

Debbie was a graduate of Shikellamy High School, Class of 1974, where she participated in the marching band and played the clarinet. In 1976, Debbie was introduced to the love of her life, Tom, and they were married on May 17, 1980. She would further her education and graduate from the former Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1977. Following her graduation, Debbie began her 47-year nursing career with Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was a dedicated professional who was instrumental in the development and advancement of the Interventional Pain Clinic at Geisinger.

Debbie was a member of Epsilon Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and Moreland Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the church choir, and played in the hand bell choir. In her free time, Debbie enjoyed quilting, traveling, flower gardening, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter Mackenzy.

Surviving is her husband of 43 years, Thomas Narber Fry; two daughters, Kristen Kay Fry of Muncy, and Amanda Kathryn (T.J.) Sheets of Muncy; a granddaughter, Mackenzy Mae Sheets; two sisters, Donna (Bob) Campbell of Sunbury, and Cathy (Dennis) Witmer of Herndon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Rd., Muncy, with Rev. David Guenin and Rev. Robert Ingraham co-officiating. Burial will follow in Moreland Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E Water St, Hughesville, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
