Daniel R. Peck, 57, of Mill Hall passed away Friday, October 30, 2026 at his home.

He was born on April 17, 1969 in Lock Haven.

Daniel was a mechanic for over 30 years, working first at a shop in Georgia, and upon moving back to Pennsylvania, at Woodward Auto.  His incredible knowledge of cars allowed him to often diagnose the problem before even looking at the car.

He attended Tri-County Church, Mill Hall.

Daniel enjoyed astrology and could always be heard jamming out to music regardless of what he was doing.

His big heart was evident by the love and care he provided for his family.  He checked on them every day and worked hard to make sure every need was met.

Daniel always brought out the light during dark times.

Surviving are his sons, Michael and Shawn Peck, both of Lock Haven; father, Mahlon Taylor, Jr. of Mill Hall; grandchildren: Amathyst Peck, Ariel Tanney and Gaven Peck; half-brother, Charles (Denise) Peck, Jr. of Renovo; best friend, Jake Shady of Jersey Shore; and the mother of his children, Michele Gause of Lock Haven.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Taylor and brothers, David and James Peck.

Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
