Daniel D. Kline, 86

Daniel D. Kline, 86, of Williamsport, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Rose View Center. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Clara R. (Meyer) Kline on November 16, 2006.

Born February 7, 1938, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Kratzer) Kline.

Daniel worked at Stepping Stone and Cobblers for many years in the maintenance department as a supervisor. Daniel later retired from Norson’s after many years in maintenance. He enjoyed playing cards and tinkering which led him to the nickname, “Mr. Fix It.”

Surviving are his children Jeffery A. Kline (Leslie) of Shelby, NC, Tammy R. Reynolds (Leroy) of Buxton, NC, and Penny L. Rhian (Jeffrey) of Loretto; grandchildren, Joshua Kline (Hailey), Kyrie Kline, Danielle Allender, Amber Rhian (Devlin Burke), Cody Rhian (Megan), Courtney Rhian (Cory Sholder) and Zachary Rhian; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Porter, Cameron, Patrick, Blake, Eliza, Foster, Cole and Cian; great-great-grandchild, Adalind; brothers, Lester Kline (Judy), Charles Kline and Edward Kline, all of Williamsport, and William Kline (Tammy) of Linden; two sisters, Martha Winder of Owensboro, KY, and Judy Moyer, of Williamsport; and a brother-in-law, Richard Forrest.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Chester and Carson Kline, and sisters, Gladys Forrest and Thelma Kline.

A funeral service to honor the life of Daniel will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, at Newberry Church of Christ 2100 Linn Street, Williamsport with Pastor John Shirey officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Newberry Church of Christ.
