Connie L. Smith, 70, of Montoursville, died January 27, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born July 14, 1947 in Williamsport, the daughter of William and Lois (Dangle) Fogleman.

Connie graduated from Montoursville High School in 1965, had worked at the former GTE Sylvania and retired from Kellogg’s. She was an active life member of Warrensville United Methodist Church and had taught Sunday School there. She had been judge of elections in Montoursville, enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with family.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Surviving are her mother of Montoursville; husband of 51 years, Nevin Lynn Smith; a son, Rodney W. (Tanya) Smith of Muncy; a daughter, Rhonda L. Smith of Williamsport; two brothers, Dennis (Doris) Fogleman of Montoursville and Jimmy (Melanie) Fogleman of Montoursville; two grandchildren, Justin and Morgan Smith, and a great-grandchild, Addisyn.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville with Rev. Susan L. Halverstadt officiating. Burial will follow in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends and family will be received from 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
