Allen L. “Al” Reynolds, Sr., 79, of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at his home, while surrounded by family.

Born on June 25, 1944, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Virginia (Lowmiller) Reynolds and Calvin Reynolds, Sr. After graduating from Williamsport High School, Al immediately enlisted into the military. He proudly served his country and was a U.S. Army veteran and was of the Methodist faith. Al retired from Alcan Cable in 1999. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Polish Club and painted classic cars in his spare-time. He helped start the Little League team, Ralston Rattlers, in Roaring Branch, PA, and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret “Maggie” (Arnold) Reynolds; a daughter, Jennifer Reynolds (Jim); two sons, Allen Reynolds, Jr., and Keith Reynolds (Jody); seven grandchildren, Gineen (Justin), James, Lydia (Nate), Michael (Chelsey), Dylan (Samantha), Keith (Brooke), and Alexis (Chris); four great-grandchildren; a brother, Calvin Reynolds (Ellen), Jr.; and a sister, Viola Solomon (Gary).

A viewing to honor the life of Al will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
