Youth Mental Health First Aid Training
What: Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach anyone how to help an adolescent (ages 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addiction challenge or is in crisis. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, review typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5 step action plan for how to help young people in crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics include anxiety, depression, substance use, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD) and eating disorders. $50 includes book, materials, lunch and certificate of attendance. Where: Volunteers will be at the State Street (east side of the library) entrance to unload your donations from your car.

Sons & Daughters of the American Revolution
What: Have you ever wondered if you were eligible to join the Sons or Daughters of the American Revolution? Would you like to find out? Paul Metzger, Registrar with the Tiadaghton Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and former PA State Registrar, and Cris Gansell-Whitcomb, Regent of the Lycoming Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will speak on the activities of the local chapters and eligibility for membership. Both speakers, as well as members of the Genealogical Society, will aid interested people in how to find and record the information needed for acceptance in both organizations.

Audubon Event
What: Lycoming Audubon field trip to Rose Valley Lake. This will be a walk and ride event, looking for a variety of waterfowl as well as land birds, as we make our way around the lake.

Christian Motorcyclists Association
What: Local CMA meeting (Christian Motorcyclists Association), an international organization founded by one man in 1975. CMA’s main mission is to bikers, to reveal the love of Jesus and to be a servant in any way we can. We also support Missionary Ventures, Open Doors, and the Jesus Film Project. Through Missionary Ventures we distributed bicycles, motorcycles, horses, boats, 3 horse & buggies, 2 snowmobiles, and 1 camel. Through Open Doors, 2.6 million Bibles, and via the Jesus Film Project over 119 million people have viewed the life of Christ in their own heart language. The results are phenomenal!
If you are a biker, and a Christian, join us at our meeting and get acquainted with us. Youth Mental Health First Aid Training
What: Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach anyone how to help an adolescent (ages 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addiction challenge or is in crisis. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, review typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5 step action plan for how to help young people in crisis and non-crisis situations. Christian Motorcyclists Association
What: Local CMA meeting (Christian Motorcyclists Association), an international organization founded by one man in 1975. CMA’s main mission is to bikers, to reveal the love of Jesus and to be a servant in any way we can. We also support Missionary Ventures, Open Doors, and the Jesus Film Project. Through Missionary Ventures we distributed bicycles, motorcycles, horses, boats, 3 horse & buggies, 2 snowmobiles, and 1 camel. Through Open Doors, 2.6 million Bibles, and via the Jesus Film Project over 119 million people have viewed the life of Christ in their own heart language. The results are phenomenal!

Roads To Freedom Center for Independent Living

Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 47
