Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited Picnic and Meeting
What: Want to learn about our local TU Chapter activities and conservation projects, the how-to of trout fishing, share some stories, or maybe try out fly casting? Maybe you’d like to bring your equipment and fish in Lycoming Creek? The public is invited to a picnic and outdoor meeting of the Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Hotdogs, corn-on-the-cob, and drinks provided. Participants encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Audubon Event: Skyline Drive Bird Walk
What: This will be a doubleheader! Skyline Drive is closed to vehicular traffic, but the paved road is walkable, gently ascending the slope of Bald Eagle Mountain. At 10AM, we will move to the Route 15 overlook with its easy parking, handicapped accessible, and the spectacular view of the Susquehanna Valley. We expect to see and hear resident sylvan birds typical of a mixed PA forest. Fall warblers, migrating hawks, and the perennial residents of the woods. All are welcome to join!

Where: Parking area/rest stop off Route 15 SOUTH, 3 miles from Beiter’s Furniture in South Williamsport. **Note** There is no access from Route 15 North, use the jug handle 1 mile past Scenic Overlook to backtrack.
Audubon Event: Lycoming Creek Bird Walk
What: Explore several sections of excellent riparian and wetland habitat during this walk close to Williamsport. Walk a portion of the Lycoming Creek Bike Path, as we search for waterfowl, heron, kingfishers and more.

Audubon Event: Chapter Meeting and Program
What: Join us for a program featuring Dr. Morrison’s experiences on her 3-week summer 2025 photosafari to South Africa. We’ll discuss the state of wildlife conservation efforts and the challenges of conservation both in South Africa and beyond.
