“Logging of Hyner”
What: Step back into time and experience the culture of the lumbermen in the late 1800’s and the “Lumbering of Hyner.” Topics will include the local history and prehistory of the area, the different developments made in the era, and the results at the end of the era. All children must be accompanied by an adult to participate. Program may be modified or cancelled in the event of severe weather or new state or community guidelines. Meet at the amphitheater (by the pool). Please bring lawn chairs.

Forest Bathing in the Magical Hours
What: You are invited to experience the “magic” of both the golden hour and the blue hour of natural lighting while forest bathing with Suzann Schiemer. Forest bathing is a popular practice of nature-based wellness which has been extensively researched. When forest bathing we will spend time exploring, interacting, and connecting with the environment through our senses. Something to sit or lie down on is suggested. All You Can Eat Breakfast
What: Muncy Lodge No. 299 F & A.M. invites the community to an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet. The menu includes pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, scrapple, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy, fruit cocktail, plus hot and cold beverages. Proceeds support the lodge’s local charitable outreach. Cost: Adults – $15; seniors, veterans & first responders – $13; children (ages 6–12) – $10; children 5 & under – free.

Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited Picnic and Meeting
What: Want to learn about our local TU Chapter activities and conservation projects, the how-to of trout fishing, share some stories, or maybe try out fly casting? Maybe you’d like to bring your equipment and fish in Lycoming Creek? The public is invited to a picnic and outdoor meeting of the Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited. Hotdogs, corn-on-the-cob, and drinks provided. Participants encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
When: Wednesday, September 9th. Meet, greet and picnic to begin at 5:30 p.m. and activities to follow.
Where: Trout Run Park Pavilion located just south of the village of Trout Run and can be accessed from the old Rt 15 highway.

Forest Bathing in the Magical Hours
What: You are invited to experience the “magic” of both the golden hour and the blue hour of natural lighting while forest bathing with Suzann Schiemer. What: Muncy Lodge No. 299 F & A.M. invites the community to an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet. Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited Picnic and Meeting
What: Want to learn about our local TU Chapter activities and conservation projects, the how-to of trout fishing, share some stories, or maybe try out fly casting? Maybe you’d like to bring your equipment and fish in Lycoming Creek? The public is invited to a picnic and outdoor meeting of the Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
