An exciting new program for Lycoming BBBS of NEPA — the Bigs and Blue Program — started at Cochran Elementary School on January 11, 2024, with Chief Justin Snyder and Asst. Chief Jason Bolt, from the Williamsport Police Department, were matched with two students, Idris, and Giovani. This is a great program as the children are excited to have a mentor from the police department who will visit them at school and spend time with them in the community.

In addition to the positive mentoring the children will receive, they will develop trust and respect for the police that hopefully will last a lifetime.
