FREE Bus rides to Downtown for Fireworks

Williamsport, PA… Trips to and from the downtown will be free on the designated Fireworks Bus route on Sunday, July 4th, 2021. Park and Ride lots are located near each of the stops to make it convenient for traveling to the downtown area during the hours of 6pm and 10:30pm. “Public Transportation will be free on the selected route and help ease congestion downtown. Anyone can ride the bus that doesn’t want to walk if they are near the route,” said Adam Winder, River Valley Transit General Manager.

The buses will run in a loop and the 10 bus stops are at the following locations; Transit Centre Bus Bay 12 on West Third Street, Mulberry Street at East Third Street, Washington Blvd. and Mulberry Street, Mulberry Street and Ross Street, Mulberry Street and Little League Blvd, Market Street and Edwin Street, 5th Street Parking Lot, Hepburn Street Lot and Hepburn Street at West Third Street. Temporary signs will be placed at the bus stop sites.

The service will operate starting at 6pm and will continue until a brief pause at 9:30pm. After the completion of fireworks, the buses will resume operating at 10pm and run until 10:30pm. More route information can be found at the information desk inside the Trade & Transit Centre II and at http://www.rideRVT.com.
