UPMC and the Williamsport Crosscutters will partner to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to fans at baseball games on Wednesday, June 2 and Saturday, June 5 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field. Fans who receive their shot at the ballpark will receive a coupon for a free hot dog and soft drink to enjoy during the game.

Cutters fans will be greeted by UPMC’s mobile bus outside the gate. Fans will have the chance to receive the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine or their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine before the game. Those who receive the Pfizer vaccine will be scheduled for their second dose three weeks later at the UPMC vaccination clinic at 2401 Reach Rd., Williamsport.

For fans who are still on the fence about the vaccine, UPMC staff will be available and happy to have informed conversations about the benefits of vaccination. Those who decide to get the vaccine during the game will be allowed to exit the ballpark and reenter without issue.
Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field Now Open to Full Capacity!

With the recent announcement, by Gov. Wolf of the rollback on COVID-19 restrictions, ballpark capacity has returned to 100%. Under state orders, masks will still be required in the ballpark for those age 3 and older, except while eating or drinking at your seat. Other safety measures in place for the 2021 season include:
– Sanitizing stations throughout the ballpark
– Restroom attendants on duty providing extra sanitization of high touch surfaces
– Clear Bag Policy for a touchless search of bags
– Scanning of tickets upon entrance with barcode readers
– No player or mascot autographs available
– New FanFood app option to order food and beverages from your seat for easy pick up.

The program, called Frontline Heroes, is presented by UPMC and honors an essential worker in pregame ceremonies at every Cutters home game this season.

Annual Cutters 5K Race Set for June 12

The Williamsport Crosscutters, in partnership with Hope Enterprises, will be holding the Annual Cutters 5K on Saturday, June 12 at Muncy Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field. The event is sponsored in part by Hamilton Patriot, Horizon FCU, Lamar, Muncy Bank & Trust, iHeart Media Williamsport, Woodlands Bank, the UPMC Health Plan & the Williamsport Sun-Gazette.
