NUU Valor 3rd in Nation

These girls took a major blow when the spring season was cancelled. They were registered for the EPYSA (Eastern Pa Youth Soccer Association) outdoor state cup and regular league play in EDP (Elite Development Program) based in Philly and NJ.

When everything shut down they moved into virtual and independent skills and workouts.

They developed a cardio incentive, juggling incentive, and skills incentive. They also did team zoom sessions to keep everyone together.

The girls worked out like crazy each trying to outdo the other to win the incentives, which were mostly gift cards or home delivered meals during our coach dash incentive.

Once they were able to play again in late July, the girls came out with a spark like never seen before.

They competed in six tournaments and won five of them. They also went undefeated in our EDP league (9-0) where they scored 48 goals, and only allowed two during their nine league games.

From July to currently, in just outdoor play, they accumulated 29 wins with only 2 losses and totaled 147 goals scored.

The girls received the rank of #1 in PA and #3 in the U.S and Canada. These rankings are accomplished by receiving

Coaches and parents couldn’t be more proud of these girls. They came together as a team and dominated the best teams in PA, NJ, MD, NY and Delaware.

They are trying to raise money for camera equipment to record games and learn from game film. We currently have a gofundme page set up to help with the expense, https://www.gofundme.com/f/valor-soccer-team.

For the future, they will be attending college showcase tournaments. These tournaments have college coaches and recruits attending looking to find prospective talent to offer scholarships to. The video equipment will help them develop these amazing athletes even more and give them all a chance to play at the next level.
