Lycoming County Sheriff Moves Offices Temporarily

If you have business regarding gun permits or any other business that involves the Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office, you will have to transact that business at a temporary new location.

Beginning this past Monday, October 26, the Sheriff’s Office is doing its business at 33 West Third Street, across the street from the Lycoming County Courthouse.

According to Lycoming County Sheriff Mark Lusk, the Sheriff’s Office Administrative Operation was temporarily closed to the public on Thursday October 22 and Friday October 23, 2020 to facilitate the move.

Public services such as License-to-Carry Firearms processing and other routine services were not available during these two days. ALL Court related services remained operational as were ALL Deputy Sheriff Operations during that period.

On Monday October 26, 2020 at 8:30 a.m., all services resumed at the temporary new location. It reopened for License to Carry Firearm issuance and ALL other services provided by the Sheriff’s Office. Please visit their temporary Office at 33 West Third Street (also referred to as Third Street Plaza). Mail correspondence should continue to be addressed to “The Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office, 48 West Third Street, Williamsport PA 17701”.

ALL phone extensions will remain the same.

If you have any questions, please contact their office directly at 570-327-2280 and they will gladly assist you. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary situation may cause.
