It will be a “spooktacular” time for all the young ghouls and their families out there when the City of Williamsport’s Recreation Department presents its “Halloween Carnival” this Saturday, October 19 at the Liberty Arena, from 5 to 7 p.m.

It is a showcase event for this spooky season. Adults and children alike are invited to wear costumes to this FREE event. The carnival will feature more than a dozen carnival games and activities that include a pumpkin giveaway, and all children 12 years of age and under in costume will be given prizes and treat bags.

“I am very excited for the City of Williamsport to partner with the Liberty Arena this year in order to host our annual Halloween Carnival. This is a great event for children and families alike to come out and enjoy Halloween festivities in a safe space. Plus enjoy the numerous amenities that the Liberty Arena has to offer as well,” Shawn Washington, Director of Recreation and Special Events for he City of Williamsport, told Webb Weekly.
