The Williamsport Crosscutters announced their 2018 Award Winners in pregame ceremonies prior to the final game of the season on September 3.The following players were honored;
UPMC Susquehanna Most Valuable Player – C Rafael Marchan
Rankin Johnson Pitcher of the Year – RHP Rafael Carvajal
Max & Alta Border Community Service Award – OF Danny Mayer
Crosscutters Game Day Employee of the Year – Vendor Allen Calvert

Fall Community Yard Sale – September 15

The Williamsport Crosscutters in association with the Williamsport Sun-Gazette will be hosting the Annual Fall Community Yard Sale at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field Saturday, September 15 from 8am-2pm. Dozens of vendors will be set up in the ballpark parking lot selling crafts, antiques and collectibles, new items, household goods, flea market items and food at great prices.

Vending spaces are available for just $20 ($25 after 9/7). Vendor forms can be downloaded at Crosscutters.com or reserve a space by calling the Crosscutters at (570) 326-3389.

Pelletier Captures 4th UPMC Susquehanna Player of the Week Award

Cutters outfielder Ben Pelletier has been named the UPMC Susquehanna Player of the Week for the week of August 20 – August 26. For the week, Pelletier hit . 2 home runs and had 8 RBI’s. The award was presented prior to the Williamsport Crosscutters game on August 27.

The 2018 Williamsport Crosscutters card sets have arrived! They feature many top Phillies prospects including Francisco Morales, Jhordany Mezquita & 20187 1st round pick, Alec Bohm. Sets are available for $10 each at the Sawmill Team Store or can be ordered online at crosscutters.com.

Happy Hours at BB&T Ballpark

Wednesday is the new Friday! The Williamsport Crosscutters will be holding Hump Day Happy Hours EVERY Wednesday during the month of September. The non-game day events, are presented by Boom City Brewing Co. Each Hump Day Happy Hour runs from 5pm-8pm on the UPMC Loggers Landing, located down the right field line. Each happy hour event features live music, full bar and food service plus $1 drafts and $1 hot dogs. There is no admission charge. Hump Day Happy Hours are held weather permitting.
