Constance A. Shipman, 79, of Loyalsock Twp. died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Roseview Center.
Born January 9, 1939 in Bastress, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Hilda C. Danneker Bennett.
Constance retired from Trimtex after 40 years of service. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, American Folk Music Association and the Senior Center in South Williamsport. Constance enjoyed square dancing, playing bingo and working outdoors.
Surviving is her husband of 56 years, Gerald G. Shipman, Sr.; two children, Gerald G. “Jake” (Kay) Shipman, Jr. and Gary E. Shipman both of Loyalsock, Twp.; grandchildren, James R. and Allison N. Shipman; sisters, Jane (Doug) Williams, Diane (Anthony) Aromando and Carol (John) Sckenk.
She was preceded in death by siblings Jim, Marvin, Hugh and Randy Bennett, Dorothy Hiller and Pauline Satori.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
