The upgrades are fantastic. The lights and sounds are stupendous. My man Scott Lowery beat me to it. He penned a great article on the new Williamsport Millionaire Stadium and the official ribbon cutting. Well done, Scott.
Words don’t describe the beauty. It’s incredible. Really. I have seen it a few times in person. I even got a tour of the new lockers and other amenities. Dude? Impressive. Lots of cool stuff. A stunning facility. Something for everyone. My friends and I are loving the luxurious press box. IPT SPORTS have their own soundproof booth. Air conditioning. Incredible views. I’m not kidding.
Coach Kevin Brown has the Millionaires rolling. They are coming off a big-time win at Jersey Shore last Friday. It hasn’t been easy for our rookie head coach. He has faced some diversities. Injuries to key personnel make things tricky.
Tevin Williams is the man. A generational talent. Unbelievable athlete. Tevin excels both on and off. He is a track superstar. Running and jumping. An all-state caliber guard on the hoops team. A dual threat quarterback who routinely makes incredible plays. Wow factors. Williams does it all. Seriously. He is on a different level. It doesn’t matter the sport. A dominant figure with a splendid smile. Fantastic kid as well.
Tevin was sidelined because of an illness. I don’t want to speculate. I went to school for seven years, but I am not a doctor. Tevin was hospitalized. It was scary. He is on the mend now. No worries. The family was overwhelmed with the love and support. Many school districts sent well wishes and photos. This goes well beyond the game. It was a beautiful thing.
Coach Brown and the Millionaires had to make several adjustments. Tevin was a huge part of their successes. And that is an understatement. Zion Hughes was moved back to quarterback. The senior played the first few games at running back. Hughes has been a worthy replacement. He is balling. Zion had an incredible night at Jersey Shore. 19-29 passing for 340 yards. He also ran for 69. Video game numbers.
Senior Tre Damschroder has also stepped up big. The talented wide receiver caught 8 passes for 186 yards and 2 TDS. Tons of Millionaires are kicking tail. Shout out to freshman running back ZaMire Hopkins as well. The O Line has been great. They never get the spotlight, but they are legit. The same with the defense and young secondary. The guys are buying in.
Yes. We all wish Tevin a speedy recovery. I had my doubts. How do you replace Tev? But these Millionaires have proved me wrong. Time and time again. It takes a village. Props to Coach Brown and his staff. There is a buzz at the new stadium in more ways than one. Cheers.
