Carlene (Miller) DeLong, 89, of Prince Frederick, Maryland (formerly of Williamsport, Pennsylvania), passed away peacefully at the Calvert County Nursing Center on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Born to the late Carl Miller and Ella (Wolfe) Miller, Carlene lived a life centered around her faith, family, and community.
Carlene was the beloved wife of the late Charles “Chuck” W. DeLong Sr., who preceded her in death in May 2021. The two were united in marriage on December 10, 1966, sharing over 54 years of loving marriage and devotion.
A dedicated professional, Carlene retired from Northern Central Bank after more than 30 years of loyal service. Outside of her career, she took great pride in spending time with her family and was a faithful member of Garden View Church of Christ.
She is survived by her loving son, Charles W. DeLong Jr., and his wife, Jennifer DeLong; her five cherished grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Memorial Park, 62 Route 54 Highway, Montgomery, Pa. 17752 on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
