Loyalsock Township High School Senior, Brady Dowell signed a letter of intent, on June 2, committing to run Track (Sprints and Jumping) at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA.
“There is a saying that ‘adversity does not build character, it reveals it,’” says Coach Matt Hill, and this could not have been more fitting for Brady. This past season, he overcame numerous obstacles to help the 4×400 team set a new school record and finish 3rd at States. Of course, none of this was surprising given the dedication and leadership that he has shown over the past four years. “There is no doubt in my mind that he will have a successful career at Bloomsburg.”
Brady was accompanied by his family, his coaches Mr. Hessert, Mr. Hill, Athletic Director Ron Insinger, Athletic Trainer Emily Bridy, Mr. Cook and Principal Dr. Matt Reitz. He will be majoring in Nursing. We wish to congratulate Brady and wish him the best of luck as a Huskie at Bloomsburg University.
