The 2019 Williamsport Crosscutters season begins on THIS Friday, June 14 when the Cutters host the State College Spikes at 7:05p.m.. Opening Night 2019 is presented by Protective Services & Backyard Broadcasting. There will be loads of opening night festivities including a local swearing-in ceremony of local recruits by the U.S. Army as well as a special presentation by Minor League Baseball President Pat O’Conner. There will be free schedule magnets for all fans and a post-game fireworks show. Leckey Live Coming to BB&T Ballpark June 13 & YOU’RE INVITED!

All fans are invited to come out to the ballpark as Emmy nominated WNEP-TV personality Ryan Leckey visits the Crosscutters on Thursday, June 13. Leckey will be doing his “Leckey Live” segments from BB&T Ballpark during Newswatch 16 This Morning from 4:30 a.m.-7:00 a.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and be part of the live TV broadcast. There will be prize giveaways, free coffee and donuts courtesy of Dunkin’ and more!

Mussina Charity Autograph Session & Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages

The Crosscutters have announced a special charity autograph signing with newly elected baseball Hall of Famer, Mike Mussina. The session will take place at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field on July 25 when the Cutters honor him on Mike Mussina Night featuring a special bobblehead for the first 1,000 fans of Mussina in a Hall of Fame uniform.

Autograph passes can be purchased for $20 with all monies donated to Lycoming County Special Olympics and K’s For Cancer. The autograph session will be limited to a maximum of 200 guests. Fans with autograph passes can bring any item they choose to be signed. There is a strict limit of one item and one pass per person.

All fans must have a ticket to the July 25 game to participate in the autograph session. Tickets are not included in the package and must be purchased separately.

The Crosscutters are also selling a very limited number of Guaranteed Bobblehead Packages for bobblehead giveaways taking place during the 2019 season. These packages guarantee fans a bobblehead without having to arrive early to the ballpark and wait in long lines or possibly miss out on being one of the first 1,000 fans through the gates to receive the giveaway.

9th Annual Cutters 5K Race Set for June 29

The Williamsport Crosscutters, in partnership with Hope Enterprises, will be holding the 9th Annual Cutters 5K on Saturday, June 29th at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.

The race, through Williamsport’s West End, begins at 9am with registration open at 8am. The course has runners starting outside the ballpark entrance with the final sprint around the field on the stadium’s warning track. Both runners and walkers are encouraged to take part in the event. All proceeds from this year’s event will go to benefit Hope Enterprises TeenLink.

Registration is $20 per person. All participants registering by June 14 are guaranteed a free race t-shirt. Online registration is available at PARunners.com (click on Events Calendar).
