Tip of the Williamsport Crosscutters cap to Crosscutters Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, Gabe Sinicropi.
Gabe has 30 seasons of minor league baseball experience, and has been with the Williamsport franchise since it moved into Historic Bowman Field in 1994. Wow! Have things changed at the ballpark since then. He was recently honored as the New York–Penn League’s Male Executive of the Year for the 2017 season. He also garnered this award after the 2011 campaign.
Gabe is truly one of the good guys — not only in baseball, but within our business community. “Gabe is not only one of the hardest working people in our industry, but also one of the most influential when it comes to Innovation and execution of the fans and business partners experience from sales to marketing to promotions and everything in between, Gabe is a force in our business and there is truly no more deserving recipient of this recognition,” stated Cutters principal owner Peter Freund.
Gabe makes the ballpark fun, and branches out with his efforts in the community. He has been a lecture speaker, presenter and emcee for numerous minor league baseball promotional seminars, and has volunteered his services to many local organizations. He currently serves on the board of Directors for the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce, Hope Enterprises, and AAA North Penn while also serving as chairman of the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau. He has volunteered his time during the Little League World Series since 1998 where his voice can be heard as a PA announcer.
“To be recognized by your peers is indeed a great honor. Our league has some of the most innovative, bright and hard-working executives in all of minor-league baseball, each of whom are equally deserving.” Gabe added.
Thank you for all you do, Gabe and congrats. I especially appreciate your efforts with Rashawn, the Director of Smiles.
