Rep. Jeff C. Wheeland (R-Lycoming) announced he will host his annual Senior Fair on Thursday, Aug. 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Lycoming Township Fire Hall, 1600 Dewey Ave., Williamsport.

“This is a great opportunity for you to visit with my staff and me and get information on many state and local programs supporting seniors, their families and caregivers,” said Wheeland.

The fair will include representatives from state government agencies like PennDOT and others. In addition, there will be health screenings, fitness and nutrition information, volunteer opportunities and elder care services.

Also, information on insurance, wills and estate planning, senior housing alternatives and more will be available.

Free refreshments will be served.
