Ellen Fry, 54, of Montoursville, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her home. She was born July 7, 1963 in Williamsport a daughter of John J. and Theresa Wilson Monahan.

Ellen was a waitress at Friendly’s Restaurant. She enjoyed feeding deer, the outdoors, hiking, rock-in-roll music and animals.

She was predeceased by her sister, Amy Monahan – Burleson.

She is survived by her parents of Montoursville; her husband of 31 years, Gregory g. Fry; son, Jacob Paul (Fiancee Amanda Wise) Fry of Hughesville; brothers, John W. and Dan Monahan, both of Montoursville; sisters, Mary Saputo of Mikado, MI Tessa DeLoach of Indiana, and her grandson, Jace Mitchell Fry.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Friends Church, 137 S. Third St. Hughesville with Pastor Dan Cale officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 4 – 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Lycoming Co. SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701. Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
