Wayne J. Parke, 71, of Upper Fairfield Twp., passed away September 12, 2018 at UPMC Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 29, 1946, in Williamsport, a son of the late John H.H. and Evelyn J. (Fry) Parke.

Wayne retired in 2011 as the Facility Manager at Primus Technologies after 35 years. He was a member of the Church of Good Shepherd where he was a lay reader for many years, served on the vestry and was head of the church cemetery. He enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars and was a “Mr. Fix It”. Wayne was very fond of his grandchildren and family.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his son, Jason W. Parke.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, the former Ann L. Klopp; his son, Joshua W. (Lori) Parke, of Montoursville; daughter, Jennifer A. (Randy) Wagner, of Montoursville; brothers, Glenn (Jean) Parke, Dale (Christine) Parke, both of Montoursville; a sister, Susan (Daniel) Damaska, also of Montoursville; four grandchildren, Jesse (Mariah Bashnick) Wagner, Jerret Wagner, and twins Jacob and Ethan Parke.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in the church cemetery at the convenience of the family.
