Vivian R. Taylor, 96

Vivian R. Taylor, 96, beloved mother and grandmother went home to be with our Lord and Savior on November 5, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born in Pottersville, NJ, daughter of Joseph and Agnes Resch on Oct. 10th, 1926.

She graduated from Hackettstown High School in 1945 and married Thomas Taylor III on Oct. 15, 1949. They moved to Loyalsock Township in 1960. After the death of her husband in 1970, she became the administrative assistant for Williamsport Doors Sales.

She was a member of Northway Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon, choir member, Sunday School teacher, and church secretary throughout the years. She was a member of the Divine Providence Hospital Auxillary, Presbyterian Homes Auxillary, and the Amity Club of Williamsport.

Surviving are a son, Thomas Taylor IV (Debra) and a daughter, Lora T. Crills (Warren); two grandsons (Thomas, Ethan) and a granddaughter (Patricia). She was predeceased by her husband, a grandson (Logan), her brother (Joseph) and her sister (Josephine).

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12th at 11am, at Twin Hills Memorial Park in Muncy. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
