Virginia Lee (Davis) Mull, 91

Virginia Lee (Davis) Mull, 91, of Jersey Shore, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at her home. Surviving is her husband of 72 years, Robert W. “Bob” Mull.

Born October 26, 1927, in Williamsport, she a was daughter of the late James A. and Kathryn G. (McClure) Davis.

Virginia was a graduate of Williamsport High School and worked as a clerk for the former Sylvania. She enjoyed family picnics, gatherings and holiday meals, and was better known to her family as “Gin” or “Ginger”. Virginia had great wit and always made everyone laugh. Her favorite thing to do was to go shopping and she loved to decorate her home. Virginia and her husband Bob also loved to travel and watch Nascar races.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a brother, James A. Davis Jr. (Sylvia); of Cogan Station; two sisters, Norma J. Wheary, of Waterville, and Patricia L. Counsil (Jerry), of Williamsport; her dog, Mattie, and cat, Kit Kat, whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three children, Robert James, Jane Louise, and Kathryn Lee Mull; and three sisters, Lila Mae Frey, Jane L. Fulton, and Phyllis M. Hill.

A funeral service to honor the life of Virginia will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 7 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
