Vickie LeVan Gray, 66

Vickie LeVan Gray, 66, a resident of Muncy, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 1.

Born Saturday, January 25, 1958, in Muncy, Vickie is the daughter of the late Dorothy (Dottie) LeVan and Myron LeVan of Muncy. She was a 1975 graduate of Muncy High School and was the head teller at First National Bank, Watsontown, where she was employed for more than 20 years.

Vickie’s childhood included many camping trips with her family and a lifetime of memories were made on the Susquehanna that included boating, water skiing and floating her fanny with her dad, cousins, children, and grandchildren.

Vickie was the best mom and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, cousins, and parents. On the weekends, Vickie was found at the table playing cinch and drinking wine with her dad, cousin and daughter. She enjoyed arts and crafts with her grandchildren, and most of all, being Lilly’s (Teach) “student” alongside Brooke (Dump Truck) and Noah (Nora).

In addition to her father Myron LeVan of Muncy, Vickie is survived by a son, Corey Gray of Hughesville; a daughter, Brooke Gray of Muncy; her grandchildren, who were her world, Jacob Gray and fiancé Hannah Shaner of Hughesville, Lilly and Noah Koch of Hughesville, her brother, Mike and wife, Coreen LeVan; nieces, nephews, cousins, her kitties, Wyatt (her dachshund brother) and her grand-dogs.

In addition to her mother, Vickie was preceded in death by two aunts, Joanne Reynolds, and Janet Digan; and three uncles, David Neufer, Nelson LeVan, and Paul LeVan.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St. Hughesville, with Lay Minister Greg Houseknecht officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Montgomery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the funeral home.
