Valerie K. Hendershot, 72, of Eldred Township, died Oct. 25, 2022 at Embassy of Loyalsock.
She was born Feb. 23, 1950, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Harold and Marilyn (Trexler) Henry.
Valerie graduated from Williamsport High School, and was a member of Knit and Rip Knitting Club. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and loved her grandchildren and dog, Kubota.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John S. Hendershot, and brother, Vance Henry.
Surviving is her husband of 55 years Stephen D. Hendershot; son, Michael A. (Kathleen) Hendershot of Cogan Station; daughter, Heather Y. Hendershot of Montoursville; sisters, Karen (Robert) Fullmer of Bodines, Carole (Robert) Laubaugh of Collomsville, and Linda Fields of Nescopek; and grandchildren, Haven Hufnagle, Annelyse Bibleheimer, Olivia Ryder, and Ethan Hendershot.
A life celebration will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
