Tom Lore, 73

Tom Lore, 73, of Millville, Pennsylvania died Saturday, January 11, 2025, at home. Born August 31, 1951, in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Judson and Helen (Swisher) Lore.

Tom was a known regular at Gumpy’s Creekside Cabin in Millville as well as Robin’s Cozy Nest in Unityville, where he cherished spending time with his dear friends. When he wasn’t at his hangout spots, Tom could be found pursuing his passions -hunting, fishing, tractor pulling, and gardening. He was always tinkering on things and keeping his hands busy. However, he especially loved spending time with his family and loved ones. He was previously employed as a truck driver for over 40 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his son, Boyd (Penny) Lore of Benton; a brother, William Lore of Millville; a sister, Lois (Henry) Stackhouse of Unityville; a grandchild, Boyd Lore Jr. of Sweet Valley; two step-grandchildren, Karyn Berkebile of Stillwater, and Hunter Berkebile of Benton; three step-greatgrandchildren, Connor, Mackenzie, and Kaycee Berkebile; and two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Zander Lore.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Allen.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, no services will be held.
