Tanya Lamoreaux, 88

Tanya Lamoreaux, 88, of Pennsdale, died Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Muncy Place.

Born June 28, 1936 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late John and Alice (Stasukewicz) Baltrusaitis. She and her husband, Loren C. Lamoreaux, celebrated 46 years of marriage before his death in 2000.

Tanya was a graduate of Berwick High School. She spent her younger years taking care of her home as well as raising and caring for her family.

Tanya formerly attended the Fowlersville United Methodist Church, Berwick and was a current member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Pennsdale.

Tanya enjoyed reading and making crafts, especially for the church.

Surviving are three children, John Lamoreaux, of Pennsdale, Lori and Alan Spence, of Manning, SC and Jason and Denise Lamoreaux, of Campbellsport, WI; three grandchildren, Nathaniel (Kane) Lamoreaux, Natalie (Colby) Thomas and Zane Lamoreaux; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Patricia Lamoreaux.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.

Burial will be held in Briar Creek Union Cemetery, Berwick.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 658 Village Rd., Pennsdale, PA 17756.
