Sylvia R. Anthony, 80, of Montoursville, passed away on February 12, 2022 at her residence.
She was born December 5, 1941 in Williamsport, daughter of the late Ira and Mabel (Minier) Springman.
Sylvia graduated from Montoursville High School, and she retired as a Cyto Technologist from the former Williamsport Hospital. She enjoyed doing stained glass, and fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Larry H. Anthony; her children, Sharon R. (Gary) Adams of Montoursville, Jeffrey L. (Renee) Anthony of Montoursville, and Christopher A. Anthony of Loyalsock Township; a brother, Clair (Marie) Springman of Montoursville; a sister, Gloria Alexander of Montoursville; seven grandchildren, Amber, Ezra, Madalyn, Autumn, Conner, Alexia, and Cole; and four great-grandchildren.
At Sylvia’s request there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Susquehanna Home Health and Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd, Williamsport, PA 17701.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
