Steven D. Harvey, 66 of West New York, NJ. passed away Sept. 16, 2023 at the Gatehouse, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Williamsport on May 6, 1957, son of Duanne and Antoinette (Manfre) Harvey.

Steve was a 1975 graduate of WAHS and graduated from Penn State University with a BA in Mass Communication and Film.

He worked as the Director for the nonprofit New York Legislative Service in NYC for over 35 years. He was also a partner of G & H LLC.

He loved spending time at the beach playing volleyball, planting flowers, and was a competitive card player, especially Pinochle. He loved decorating for the holidays, however, his greatest joy was his family, spoiling his 13 beloved nieces, nephews and 17 greater nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion of 12 years, Geovanni Rios of the Bronx; sisters Mary Ann (David) Cipriani Wmspt., Denice (Paul) Scott S. Wmspt., Christine (James) Dalgarn SC.; brother Matthew (Dominique) Harvey Cali.; and his Goddaughter Nikki Cipriani Pile.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 at the Crouse Funeral Home 133 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.

The funeral service is at noon with Pastor Peter Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery

A memorial service will be held in Sandy Hook, NJ in 2024 with a specific date TBD.
